Tiny Cockapoo Puppy
These are first generation F1, (Cocker Spaniel to Poodle breeding), Cockapoo puppies. We believe in hybrid vigor which is achieved by mating two dogs that have diverse back grounds. This introduces new genes to the genetic stew which insures very healthy offspring. So you can rest assure that your puppy will come to you as happy and healthy as can be. That is why we have no problem giving a 2 year genetic health guarantee on our Cockapoo puppies. We breed our small 15 pound Chocolate Cocker dam with our 4 pound black/silver teacup Poodle stud to get these small Cockapoos. I have heard many breeders say you can't breed a 4 pound teacup Poodle with a Cocker Spaniel and that may be true with their breeding stock but not with ours. Our Cocker female is small, and our Poodle stud tries and tries until he (gets lucky). Then we hold our dam so she does not move around to much and accidentally hurt the little guy. Their puppies are gorgeous! They will have the tiny toy poodles of 5 pounds full grown and can have puppies up to 23 pounds full grown, due to genetic throw back, so ask about the size of a puppy if you are interested in him or her. I'm pretty accurate at predicting the adult weight of our puppies.... If you want a small dog that is not as delicate as a toy poodle but still has that non shedding, hypoallergenic coat, You've found it in this breed. The puppies will be between 4-20 pounds full grown. Check out the puppy page for pricing. All Dogs come registered, have tail, dew claws done, and shots started. If you do not want your puppy's tail docked I must know and have your deposit in by the time the puppy is 3 days old, or it will get docked at that time. We get Teacup and Toy sized Cockapoos, and also mini sizes on occasion. Different breeders have different opinions on what they classify as a teacup, toy or mini sized Cockapoo so please look on the chart below that explains what we believe these terms to mean. You must also consider the height when estimating the adult size of a puppy. Since Our dam is less than 13" and our sire is 8" these puppies have the potential to be very small. That is why we usually only get the smaller sized puppies from this pair. Our Cockapoos are of the best quality and if you are a breeder you will find the tiny size of their genetic lines to be an invaluable addition to your breeding program. Of coarse if your Cockapoo is just going to be your family pet please have it spayed/neutered for it's own overall health and wellness.

GROOMING: Cockapoos require grooming once a month but can go two or three months between grooming if you keep them in a puppy or short cut. You will need to brush your Cockapoo at least once a week. You do not have to worry about cleaning up fur from your furniture, or hairs on your clothes, since this is a non-shedding breed. They are also dander free which is great if you have asthma or allergies! Please also remember to brush your Cockapoos teeth once a week to prevent tooth decay. This is a very nice breed to have, very playful, but not overly excitable like some small breeds can be. Our Cockapoo puppies have very friendly personalities and a desire to please their owners. You are welcome to come visit us, and play with the puppies anytime to see for yourself what nice puppies they truly are. Just call us for an appointment a few days in advance.
*I guarantee the health of your puppy, as long as you follow these directions for the puppy’s proper care:
1.Vet check: Take your new puppy to the veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving it. This is required to keep your health guarantee. Your puppy will come with shots and worming up to date. Puppy must also finish his puppy shot regiment and be on a heartworm preventative or guarantee is null and void.
2. Measure your puppy’s food intake: I will send some food with your puppy that he/she has been eating unless puppy is shipped by airplane. Our Cockapoo puppies are fed Purina Puppy Chow Dry Dog Food along with some other food supplements located on our puppy diet page. Please have this food on hand before you pick up your new puppy. If you would like to change his/her diet please call me first, so I can explain the proper way to switch from one kind of food to another. Measure food intake for the first few months to make sure your puppy is eating enough.
3. Keep as inside dog until 5 months of age: A small body loses heat quickly so at least for the first few months my advice would be to keep your puppy indoors if it is cold outside.
4. Keep puppy kenneled: At night put your puppy in a confined area or crate so it does not over exert itself or get into trouble. This also helps potty train your puppy. It is also my advice to not allow the puppy to over exert itself to the point of hypoglycemia.
*GUARANTEE: Your puppy will see the veterinarian within a few days of transfer and will come with a certificate stating he/she is in good health. All of our dogs are of the best quality! I will not sale, or breed a dog with undesirable traits or medical problems. All guarantees expire when the puppy reaches 24 months of age, so any grievances must be made before this date. I do not refund money. In the event your puppy is found to have a life threatening genetic health abnormality I will allow you to keep your puppy, and will give you an additional healthy pup of equal value, out of a future litter. Please keep your puppy on the diet they have been on. Info on your puppy's diet is located on our puppy diet page. (Do not feed your puppy table scraps!) This can cause serious medical problems to your dog as well as make him/her obese. All guarantees expire if and when you breed your dog, otherwise your puppy is guaranteed for the first 2 years of life. If a puppy must be replaced all shipping charges will be the responsibility of the buyer. In the event of a puppy’s death after transfer, buyer must have a necropsy done by his/her local vet, and findings must be the death was from a genetic abnormality to qualify for a new puppy. I do not guarantee against Hypoglycemia, Coccidiosis, Parasites, or other stress or environmental related conditions once the puppy has been transferred. I also do not guarantee any cosmetic or easily fixed conditions, such as an over bite, hernia, or undescended testicles. Again I assure you, your puppy will have seen a vet and if any of these conditions are present I would not sell that puppy. We have never had any instances where a puppy had to be replaced. All our dogs are very healthy and get physicals every 6 months. We have never had a puppy born with a genetic defect.
SHIPPING: We are located in Harrisonville, Missouri. That is less than a hour from Kansas City, Kansas. To ship a puppy within the continental USA is an additional $250. This includes the required travel crate, and health certificate to fly. I ship puppies that I deem ready for transport at 8 weeks of age. I trust Continental Airlines with my tiny puppies because they provide a temp. controlled room and watch the puppies the entire time they have them...This is a worry free and safe way to send your puppy. In the event I have to ship a puppy using a different airline, I always check for safe pet handling procedures. International buyers must contact me for shipping arrangements.
They will have crate training and house breaking started!
If you decide to buy a puppy from us at Jordan Family Kennels it is assumed you have read and agree with guarantee stated above.
