I can not be precise on the price of a puppy until it is close to six weeks old and I have had time to calculate his/her final size estimate. So if you place a deposit on a specific puppy you are agreeing to pay the final price that he/she will be given at 5-6 weeks of age. In the case of a very small puppy the price can be $2500 or more... Deposits are non refundable but can be slid to any other puppy if something happens to your puppy. Deposits are not refundable or transferable if you have chosen a puppy to place on hold, and then change your mind for any reason. Payment in full is due when puppy is 6 weeks old to give time for payments to clear the bank. I will not transfer a puppy until payment has cleared in the bank.

I know how it feels to want a tiny dog and get your hopes all up just to find out your new pet has grown up to be a bigger size, and so I really do try my best to be as accurate as possible when stating the adult size of your puppy. If you are wanting a teacup that is going to be around 3 pounds full grown I will gladly hold your puppy for you until it is 12 weeks old to get a better estimate on size if you like. Please understand this is an educated guess, (based from many  years of breeding),and not an exact weight. The puppy can be a pound more or less than this estimate at a year of age. Please read size info on guarantee, (below), (On the guarantee Page), and also on the puppy weight chart page.

ALL PUPPIES COME WITH AKC PAPERS & ARE REGISTERED AS AKC TOY POODLES! We get black, chocolate, café au lait, white, cream, apricot, silver beige, red, beige, parties, and phantom colored poodles from our breeding dogs. Coat colors do change sometimes so call and ask about the potential adult color of a puppy you are interested in. I like to think of all our tiny puppies as being precious gifts from above. Please feel free to contact me for puppy advice or just to chat. I love to hear how the puppies are doing in their new homes.
Your puppy will come with potty training started on the Potty Park system. This system also teaches your puppy to potty outside. For more info on this method or for details on how to house train your puppy :CLICKHERE. Our teacup & Tiny Toy Poodles come with their tail docked. If you wish your puppy to have a long tail you will need to contact me before the puppy is 3 days old to let me know. After you have read the rest of this page you can go to the following link to learn more on our tail docking procedure: TAIL DOCKING...
GROOMING: Poodles require a coat trimming once a  month but can go two or three months between grooming if you keep them in a puppy or short cut. I can also show or explain to you how to trim your Poodle, if you would like to do it yourself. You will need to brush your poodle at least twice a week to keep his/her coat looking it's best. You do not have to worry about cleaning up stray hairs from your furniture, since this is a non shedding breed. They are also dander free which is just wonderful if you have asthma or allergies! The perfect  indoor pet!!! Don't forget to brush your Poodles teeth at least once a week, because all toy breeds are prone to tooth decay if not cleaned regularly. I also take my dogs in to the vet for a more in depth dental cleaning once a year. Keep those pearly whites looking perfect!  Look on our Puppy Care Page for more info on grooming your puppy.
Your puppy will see a vet before it is transfered to you and if any medical issues are seen at all we will contact you immediately and see if you would like to put your money paid towards another puppy. Our vet looks over every puppy very thoroughly.
*I guarantee the health of your puppy, as long as you follow these directions for the puppy’s proper care.
1.Vet check: Take your new puppy to the veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving it. This is required and guarantee is void if you fail to do so. Your puppy will come with shots and worming up to date. Puppy must also finish his puppy shot regiment and be on a heartworm preventative or guarantee is null and void.

2. Measure your puppy’s food intake: I will send some food, (Life's Abundance dry puppy food), home with your new puppy. If your puppy is shipped I will mail you your puppy care kit and puppy sample of puppy food. It is a good idea to have the puppy food already on hand before you pick your puppy up from the airport. **If you would like to change his/her diet please call me first, so I can explain the proper way to switch from one kind of food to another. We do recommend feeding your puppy Life's Abundance puppy food for at least the first year of life. Please visit our Puppy Diet page for info on where to buy this wonderful holistic all natural puppy food. Measure food intake for the first few months to make sure your puppy is eating enough. You must remember that teacup puppies only eat very small amounts of food at a time but they exert large amounts of energy, so food and water should be available to your puppy 24 hours a day. It only takes 1 or 2 missed meals for a small puppy to have a life threatening period of low blood sugar. Signs of this include lethargic or sleepy behavior, not wanting to eat, unbalanced when walking, weak, and not playful like normal. In the most serious cases the puppy will have seizures. If you think your puppy is having a low blood sugar episode contact the vet immediately. All puppies have different tastes and some will only eat their food if you wet it down first. I also have a few other suggestions for diet located on our PUPPY DIET page. You can also call me for advice any time of day. It is also my advice to buy a tube of Nutrical to give to your puppy every mourning and every night. Just ¾ of an inch of Nutrical squeezed out of the tube is enough. This will help prevent a low blood sugar episode. You can stop this supplement when the puppy reaches it’s adult weight. Your puppy will come with NuVet Vitamins and I ask that you keep him/her on this vitamin for at least the first year of life to help with the immune system and proper development.
3. Keep puppy warm: These are INSIDE pets, extreme temperatures can be fatal. A small body loses heat quickly so at least for the first few months my advice would be to keep a heating pad, (on low), available to your puppy. Make sure to keep the cord out of the puppy’s reach, so as to avoid electric shock. I recommend K&H pet heating pads. It is safest to use a heating pad made for your dog like the K&H heating pads are. Always give puppy enough space to get away from the heating pad if he/she gets to warm. Again I have to state do not leave your teacup Poodle out side unattended. These are small dogs  and weather changes can occur quickly, also predatory animals may harm your Poodle if left out side.
4. Keep puppy kenneled: In between play sessions put your puppy in a confined area or crate so it does not over exert itself or get into trouble. A puppy loves to be right under your feet, and being so small one false step can easily injure or kill your puppy. This is why I recommend if you have small children to watch them closely with the new puppy. Please do not leave your puppy on a bed or couch. If it falls or jumps down it could break a leg. Although these dogs seem quite fragile they are a joy to have. I have 5 young children and my 3 teacup poodles have never been hurt in any way by them. This is just to advice you on what could happen so you can be as watchful of an owner as I.

LEGAL HEALTH GUARANTEE
If you decide to buy a puppy from us at Jordan Family Kennels it is assumed you have read and agree with guarantee linked above.
SHIPPING: We are located in Harrisonville, Missouri. That is less than a hour from Kansas City, Kansas. To ship a puppy within the continental USA is an additional $250. This includes the required travel crate, and health certificate to fly. I ship puppies that I deem ready for transport at 8 to 12 weeks of age. I trust Continental Airlines with my tiny puppies because they provide a temp. controlled room and watch the puppies the entire time they have them... I also use Pet Air Transport agency on occasion to find a suitable flight for our puppies. This is a worry free and safe way to send your puppy. Sometimes I may have to send puppies using other airlines, but I always check for safe pet handling procedures before doing so. We have never had a negative experiance with flying a puppy so far. International buyers must contact me for shipping arrangements.
We hope all our puppies have found their forever homes when they leave us, but understand life is full of unexpected events. If for any reason you have to get rid of your Teacup Poodle please send him/her back to us instead of the humane society or a stranger. I will pay for shipping if needed.
If you decide to buy a puppy from us at Jordan Family Kennels it is assumed you have read and agree with the guarantee stated above and on the guarantee Page.
